Position Details: We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for a part-time contract position, with a caseload spanning from Kindergarten to 12th grade. This onsite opportunity offers a rewarding experience within the educational setting, focused on helping students develop crucial communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of sessions and student progress.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current state license in Louisiana (LA) for Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience with pediatric populations and school-based settings is advantageous.
