Requirements Applicants must meet the following local and state criteria:

Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution

Current Minnesota Board of Teaching license as a School Psychologist

Completion of a supervised internship in a school setting

Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to special education and student services

Strong communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and families

Experience working in elementary school settings preferred
Typical Responsibilities Include:

Conduct psychological and educational assessments to support eligibility decisions

Provide counseling and behavioral support services to elementary-aged students

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
-
Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators on academic and behavioral interventions

Support crisis intervention and provide mental health resources as needed

Maintain compliance with documentation and reporting requirements
