Blazer Jobs is seeking a compassionate and skilled School Occupational Therapist to join our team in Emporia KS for the 20252026 school year. This role is vital in helping students succeed by supporting their ability to fully participate in academic and social activities. The focus is on improving functional skills essential to learning, rather than directly teaching academic content.
Key Responsibilities:
35-40 students on caseload, there are high support students
Specific needs of the students (e.g., academic support, behavioral support, etc.) students on caseload generally have several services
IEP meeting expectations- collect data, write IEPs, attend IEPs, bill Medicaid
Average weekly IEP minutes - 20 minutes x 1 day/week
Roughly 40% of sessions can be grouped
Requirements:
Active Kansas Occupational Therapist (OT) License
Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
Previous school-based experience required
