High School School Psychologist
Location: Burbank, IL
Pay Rate: $48$58 per hour (based on experience)

This is an excellent opportunity to provide essential psychological services and support to high school students while collaborating with educators and families.

Requirements:

Applicants must meet all state and local requirements to be considered, including:

Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement
Previous experience working with high school students preferred
Strong knowledge of psychological evaluations, academic interventions, and counseling strategies
Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, teachers, and administrators

Responsibilities:

Typical duties of a High School School Psychologist include:

Conducting psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs
Supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Providing individual and group counseling services to students
Consulting with teachers, administrators, and families to address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
Assisting in crisis intervention and response services when necessary
Promoting a positive school climate and supporting student mental health initiatives
