Blazer Jobs is actively hiring a dedicated School Social Worker to support students in a school district located in Plainfield, IL for the upcoming 20252026 School Year.
Position Details:

Full-time, onsite role

School-based setting (providing individual counseling, small group support, classroom-based interventions, and collaboration with educators and families)

Caseload information will be provided during the district interview
Requirements:

Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program

Must hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement

Knowledge of IEP processes and ability to provide services in compliance with IDEA and state regulations
-
Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred

Familiarity with case management systems and technology tools a plus
