Social Worker
Location: Plainfield, IL
Schedule: Full-Time | MondayFriday | 37.5 hours per week
Contract Dates: August 2025 June 2026 (20252026 School Year)

Blazer Jobs is seeking a certified Social Worker for a full-time, school-based role in Plainfield, IL. This position is ideal for a compassionate professional dedicated to supporting the academic, social, and emotional needs of students.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct social-emotional support and counseling services to students, tailored to individual needs

Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement intervention plans in accordance with district and IEP requirements

Regularly communicate with parents, teachers, and team members to exchange updates and support strategies

Conduct ongoing assessments of student progress using formal and informal tools
-
Prepare for and actively participate in IEP meetings and other relevant discussions related to student programming and services
Requirements:

Valid Illinois certification or licensure as a Social Worker (LCSW or school social work credential as required)

Experience working in school or educational settings preferred

Strong understanding of social-emotional learning, counseling strategies, and student support interventions

Ability to work collaboratively and maintain consistent documentation
