- Help students improve hand strength and coordination for writing, cutting, using school tools (e.g., scissors, pencils, rulers).
- Address handwriting difficulties (letter formation, spacing, grip, legibility)
- Help students who are over- or under-sensitive to sensory input (e.g., noise, textures, lights) so they can better focus and engage in the classroom.
- Develop sensory diets or provide calming/alerting strategies.
- Support tasks that require eye-hand coordination, like copying from the board, completing worksheets, or organizing materials on a page
- Recommend adaptive tools (e.g., pencil grips, slant boards, alternative seating).
- Suggest changes to classroom setups to improve access and participation.
- Regularly assess student improvement.
- Adjust interventions based on progress, classroom demands or changing needs.
- Help students with challenges in play, peer interaction, and classroom routines.
- Provide strategies for turn-taking, emotional regulation, or group work participation.
Requirements: - Active AKOT License
- Bachelors Degree
- Must have previous school-based experience
