Role Summary
As a School-Based Occupational Therapist in Sarasota, FL, you will assess, plan, and implement interventions to help students develop the skills needed for academic participation and daily functioning within the school environment. You will collaborate with educators and families to support student success.
Responsibilities
Conduct occupational therapy evaluations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations
Monitor student progress and adjust therapy as needed
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents
Educate school personnel on strategies to support student needs
Requirements (Florida)
Occupational Therapist certification through NBCOT
Active Florida Board of Occupational Therapy license
School-based experience preferred
