Position Overview
SASED is seeking a compassionate Social Worker to serve approximately 30 students across three school sites. This role involves travel between schools and direct support for students with special needs, primarily focusing on Autism and elementary-level social-emotional development.
Responsibilities

Provide social work services and support to students with Autism and other special needs.

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized support plans.

Monitor student progress and provide counseling or interventions as needed.

Participate in team meetings, IEP planning, and district initiatives to support student success.

Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with SASED and district policies.
Qualifications

Active IL Educator Certificate required

Previous school-based experience is a plus
