Requirements:

Must meet all local and state licensure requirements for Speech Language Pathologists in Georgia

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred

Active Georgia state license or eligibility to obtain

Prior experience working with special education students and families highly preferred
Typical Responsibilities:
-
Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders
-
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with IEP teams
-
Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and data collection for compliance and monitoring
-
Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff to support student success
-
Provide strategies and consultation to staff and caregivers to generalize speech and language goals
-
Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
