Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and passionate Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time, school-based contract position in Gages Lake, Illinois. Requirements:

Must meet all local and state licensure requirements for Speech Language Pathologists in Illinois

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred

Previous school-based or pediatric experience highly preferred

Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators, administrators, and families
Typical Responsibilities:
-
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students speech, language, and communication needs
-
Develop and implement individualized IEP goals and therapy plans
-
Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
-
Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
-
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
-
Offer classroom strategies and staff support to promote student communication across learning environments
-
Utilize evidence-based techniques and augmentative communication tools where appropriate
