Occupational Therapist Job Duties

Conduct evaluations and provide therapy services to students with fine motor, sensory, or functional challenges

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student growth

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success

Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed

Ensure compliance with all district, state, and federal regulations
Federal and State Requirements

Masters or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Active Alaska OT license required

Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred

Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
