A professional Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a K-12 school setting in Santa Clarita, CA. This is a contract position for the current school year, starting in March 2026 and concluding on June 4, 2026. The role involves working approximately 30-35 hours per week, with caseloads averaging around 45 students. The specific school site will be determined.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations and interventions for students in a K-12 school environment.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and comply with school policies and state regulations.
- Participate in meetings such as IEP conferences and multidisciplinary team discussions.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 populations.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders common in school-age children.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 45 students effectively.
