Join a K-12 school in North Hollywood, CA, as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2025-2026 school year contract starting March 2026 through June 4, 2026. This opportunity offers a part-time commitment of approximately 30-35 hours per week with an average caseload of 45 students, supporting diverse communication needs in a dynamic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support student communication development and academic success
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of student progress and services rendered
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certification (SLP-CCC) and appropriate state licensure
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 populations
- Strong understanding of school-based speech-language services and special education procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 45 students effectively
