Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist role is available supporting a high school caseload in Lamont, CA. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY) and involves providing speech therapy services to approximately 55 students with mild to moderate disabilities, as well as some with severe disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to high school students.
- Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and track student progress.
- Collaborate with an onsite facilitator provided by the district.
- Utilize SEIS (Special Education Information System) for documentation and reporting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and active California Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Prior experience working in California public schools.
- Strong familiarity with SEIS for special education case management.
- Skilled in both in-person and teletherapy SLP service delivery.
- Ability to manage a significant caseload of students with a range of disabilities.
