Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions addressing student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective intervention plans
- Assess student behavior and social-emotional status to create tailored support strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student success plans
- Provide crisis intervention and referrals to community resources as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and legal requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid license to practice as a Social Worker in school settings
- Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or clinical environments
- Strong knowledge of social-emotional development and counseling techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trusting relationships with students and families
- Familiarity with education laws and regulations related to student welfare
