A contract Occupational Therapist position is available in Seattle, WA, within a school setting. This role focuses on providing therapeutic support to students to enhance their developmental and functional skills, enabling greater participation and success in the educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students abilities, challenges, and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote student progress.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
- Provide consultative support and training to school staff regarding therapy techniques and accommodations.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist credential required.
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric therapy practices and educational accommodations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
