This full-time, virtual contract position offers an opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services in a school-based setting for the second semester, with potential for annual renewal. As a remote role focused on pediatric therapy, this position requires licensed professionals to deliver teletherapy to students in need of specialized speech and language interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for school-aged children
- Provide teletherapy services that align with educational goals and state guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to confidentiality standards
- Monitor and report on student outcomes throughout the semester
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Louisiana; dual licensure or certification required if practicing across state lines
- Proven school-based experience providing speech-language pathology services to pediatric populations
- Demonstrated proficiency delivering teletherapy in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and school staff
- Ability to work independently in a virtual environment while managing a full caseload
