Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide teletherapy services in a K-12 school setting located in New Orleans, LA. The contract runs through the current school year, from ASAP until May 22, 2026, with the potential for full-time work at 35 hours per week following the school calendar. Part-time candidates will also be considered.
Key responsibilities include delivering effective speech-language teletherapy to students across various grade levels within the assigned school(s). The caseload and specific job duties will be determined based on district needs. Collaborative communication with educators and parents to support student progress through virtual sessions is essential.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state license in Louisiana and in the candidates state of residence
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Minimum of three years experience working within school settings, preferably in Louisiana
- Proven experience conducting teletherapy or telespeech services
- Successful completion of a technology screening
- At least one professional reference available for review
Schedules generally follow a Monday through Friday routine with 7-hour days plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Flexibility in scheduling may be considered. Candidates will undergo prescreening interviews to assess suitability before district presentation.
