Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed Speech Language Pathologist is needed for a contract position supporting K-12 students through telespeech and teletherapy services. The role involves delivering therapy primarily to children in kindergarten through fifth grade, with assignments across multiple private school campuses and an elementary school.
Location: Fairhope, AL
Duration: March 2026 through May 29, 2026
Schedule: Approximately 35 hours per week
Student Population: K-12, with a focus on K-5 students at designated schools
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services via teletherapy platforms to students with a variety of speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each students goals
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student progress and adjust therapy approaches as necessary
- Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and student progress in compliance with regulatory guidelines
Required Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology
- Current licensure with the Alabama Board of Speech Examiners and an active license in your state of residence
- Experience delivering teletherapy or telespeech services within school settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills conducive to effective remote therapy delivery
