A contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support student well-being and educational success in Greenville, SC. This role involves working closely with students, educators, and families to assess psychological and educational needs, develop plans for intervention, and provide counseling services to promote positive learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs and challenges
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and support to students experiencing academic, social, or emotional difficulties
- Assist in crisis intervention and behavior management strategies within the school setting
- Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in school settings with diverse student populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage caseload and prioritize responsibilities efficiently
