Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in the Morris, Illinois area, supporting students within a special education cooperative. This contracted assignment focuses on providing teletherapy services to children across multiple elementary and primary centers, including those in self-contained autism programs.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering teletherapy speech-language pathology services to students with various communicative needs
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitoring and documenting student progress and adjusting interventions accordingly
- Serving approximately 33 to 43 students across Walnut Trails Elementary, Minooka Primary Center, and Minooka Elementary
- Providing services via telespeech platforms consistent with school district guidelines
Qualifications sought:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with teletherapy delivery
- Ability to engage and support students across a wide range of ages and abilities, including those in self-contained autism classrooms
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work 32.5 to 37.5 hours weekly during the school year
