Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist with school experience to provide telespeech and teletherapy services. This role supports special education students, including those in self-contained autism settings, across multiple elementary schools in the vicinity of Yorkville, IL.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time position, 32.5 to 37.5 hours per week
- Contract duration: Immediate start through May 2026
- Service locations include Walnut Trails Elementary, Minooka Primary Center, and Minooka Elementary
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services through teletherapy platforms in alignment with individual student IEP goals
- Collaborate with special education teams to support students with autism and other communication needs
- Assess, plan, and implement interventions for 33 to 43 students within self-contained classrooms and general education settings
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Proven experience working in school environments
- Competence in telespeech and teletherapy service delivery
- Understanding of special education regulations and autism spectrum disorder supports
- Strong communication and organizational skills
