A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available in Elk Grove, CA, on a contract basis. This role involves providing speech and language therapy services to students within a school setting, supporting their communication development and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input on student educational needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
