Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A remote psychologist position is available to provide telehealth services across multiple educational levels, including Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school students. This role focuses on supporting the mental health and psychological well-being of students through virtual platforms in a school setting.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct teletherapy sessions for students in grades K-12.
- Administer psychological assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with school staff to support student academic and social-emotional growth.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with Louisiana state education and psychological services regulations.
- Provide consultation and guidance on behavioral and mental health issues.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Louisiana state license and full licensure in your home state if residing outside Louisiana.
- Minimum of three years of experience practicing as a school psychologist in a school setting.
- Demonstrated experience working with school districts in Louisiana.
- Proven proficiency in delivering teletherapy services to school-aged children.
- Strong knowledge of K-12 educational environments and student developmental stages.
Location:
- Remote position serving schools in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Contract and Compensation:
- Full-time 1099 contract role.
- Compensation provided as hourly and weekly pay via direct deposit.
