A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services. The role serves a Pre-K through 6th-grade population at an elementary school in Yuba City, CA. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 5th, 2026.
Responsibilities include providing speech-language therapy services to a current caseload of 78 students, including approximately five preschoolers. Support is available onsite from a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant five days per week. The work environment features a shared, divided space dedicated primarily to speech services, with occasional use by occupational therapy and adapted physical education professionals. Therapy sessions utilize a VocoVision workstation and external camera to facilitate teletherapy. There is an established system for managing re-evaluations, annual reviews, and new assessments, reducing the backlog. Familiarity with SEIS documentation and reporting software is highly valued. Additional duties may include conducting 1 to 2 preschool transition assessments. IEP meetings are scheduled on Thursdays.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
