Providing speech-language support through teletherapy, this contract position is available in Rochester, MI, with two openings totaling 1.5 FTE. Services focus mainly on elementary and middle school students, with some initial evaluations for younger children. The role offers a flexible schedule aligned with the school day and serves students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Holds an active Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license (verification required)
- Skilled in delivering speech-language pathology services via teletherapy platforms
- Experience working with school-aged children across K-12, especially in elementary and middle school settings
- Ability to conduct initial evaluations for younger children
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage virtual caseloads effectively
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting teletherapy sessions addressing speech and language goals for students
- Performing initial assessments and evaluations to determine individualized support needs
- Collaborating with school staff to align therapy goals with educational objectives
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of student progress
- Adhering to all relevant regulations and standards related to teletherapy services
