A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech and teletherapy within a school environment. This role supports K-12 students with a focus on elementary and middle school levels, primarily providing remote speech therapy services.
Location: Sterling Heights, MI
Contract Duration: ASAP through 6/12/2026, with high potential for Extended School Year (ESY) and Next School Year (NSY) renewals
Schedule: 35 hours per week, with flexible scheduling options aligned with the school day
Caseload: Primarily elementary and middle school students, including some initial evaluations for younger children
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy speech-language services to K-12 students
- Conduct initial evaluations for early learners as needed
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance student communication outcomes
Required Qualifications:
- Active Michigan State Speech-Language Pathologist license (current license verification required)
- Experience with telespeech or teletherapy service delivery in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation
- Ability to work independently and adapt to remote service modalities
