A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in teletherapy within school settings in Pontiac, MI. The position supports students from kindergarten through 12th grade, with a focus on elementary and middle school populations, as well as some initial evaluations for younger children.
This role requires a caseload totaling 35 hours per week, with workload distribution adaptable to fit school day schedules. Two positions are open, including one requiring 1.5 full-time equivalents. The assignment starts immediately and extends through June 12, 2026, with strong potential for extensions into Extended School Year (ESY) and Next School Year (NSY).
Key responsibilities:
- Provide teletherapy services to K-12 students, primarily focusing on speech-language intervention.
- Conduct initial speech-language evaluations for younger students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with school staff and families via virtual platforms to support student progress.
Qualifications and experience:
- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license is mandatory.
- Skilled in delivering speech therapy through telepractice modalities.
- Prior experience working with school-age children is preferred.
- Ability to manage scheduling independently within school hours.
