Blazer Jobs is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position within school districts in the Little Rock, AR area. This position involves assessing and treating students with speech, language, and communication disorders, ensuring they have the support they need to succeed academically.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
- Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in group settings, to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' communication goals within the educational environment.
- Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings, offering professional insights and recommendations.
- Educate and train teachers and parents on techniques to support speech and language development outside of therapy sessions.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Arkansas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
