Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Minnesota School Position
We are currently seeking multiple Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) for the upcoming school year. This is a contract position offering competitive pay, guaranteed hours, and a quick interview and hiring process.
Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: June 5, 2025
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. 3:30 p.m.
- Caseload: K-12 students
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide support to a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in delivering individualized instruction and intervention.
- Assist in screening, identifying, and diagnosing communication disorders (articulation, voice, language, fluency).
- Help with treatment planning, consultation, and follow-up for students aged birth to 21 years.
- Collaborate on setting specific goals and monitoring progress through periodic assessments and data collection.
Qualifications:
- Option 1: Associate degree from a speech-language pathology assistant program accredited by the Higher Learning Commission or its equivalent.
- Option 2: Bachelors degree in communication sciences or disorders with additional coursework in assistant-level service delivery and 100 hours of supervised fieldwork.
- Licenses and Clearances: Valid state licenses and required clearances for Minnesota.
