Speech Language Pathologist Full-Time inFranklin Park, IL
Blazer Jobs is seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologists for full-time roles with school districts in the Franklin Park, IL area. This position involves working directly with students to address speech and language disorders, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with educational staff to support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, including one-on-one and group sessions.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational needs.
- Conduct periodic evaluations and update treatment plans accordingly.
- Provide training and support to school staff on communication strategies and interventions.
Local and State Requirements:
- Illinois State Licensure: Applicants must hold a valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist License.
- Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Prior experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Background Check: Successful completion of a background check in compliance with state and local regulations.
