Full-Time School Social Worker Red Lion, PA
Blazerworks has partnered with the Red Lion School District to hire a compassionate and skilled School Social Worker for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to support students' emotional, social, and academic needs, ensuring they thrive both in and out of the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and counseling to students facing emotional, social, or behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to develop intervention plans
- Connect students and families with community resources for additional support
- Promote a positive school environment that fosters inclusivity and student success
- Conduct assessments to identify students needs and create tailored solutions
- Assist with crisis intervention when necessary
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field
- Valid Pennsylvania state licensure/certification as a School Social Worker
- Previous experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and outside agencies
