Job Details:
- Location: Montgomery, AL
- Position: Full-time
- Contract Duration: School Year
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with a variety of communication disorders
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for speech and language services
- SLPA: Assist the SLP in conducting therapy sessions and following treatment plans under supervision
Qualifications:
- SLP: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology and valid Alabama SLP license
- SLPA: Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program and valid Alabama SLPA certification
- ASHA certification is a plus for SLP applicants
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
