School Social Worker (SSW)
- Academic School Year, and Standard School Hours
What Youll Do:
- Provide direct counseling services to students, addressing emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans that align with students educational and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive school environment.
- Advocate for students well-being and ensure access to necessary resources and services.
- Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to interventions as needed to support their success.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a School Social Worker.
- At least one year of experience working as a Social Worker, preferably in a pediatric or school setting, is preferred.
