Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists (OT) for a full-time position with school districts in the Waynesville, Missouri area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping students achieve their fullest potential.
Requirements:

Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Active Missouri Occupational Therapy License
-
Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
-
Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) Certification (if required for school-based positions)
-
Ability to pass background checks and fingerprinting as mandated by the school district and state
-
Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
-
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students to determine eligibility for occupational therapy services
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student success
-
Provide direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress reports
-
Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and professional development activities
-
Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory integration, daily living skills, and adaptive behaviors necessary for school participation
