Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Full-Time On-Site or Remote

Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing qualified Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time opportunity with school districts in the Cambridge, Maryland area for the upcoming school year. We are seeking experienced professionals who are passionate about helping students achieve their full communication potential in an educational setting. This position can be on-site or remote.
Details:
- Location: Cambridge, MD (or remote)
- Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: Elementary School & Middle School Caseload, SLP conducting testing and evaluations. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit based on experience.
Requirements Applicants Must Meet All Local and State Criteria: - Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Maryland licensure through the Maryland Board of Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers, and Speech-Language Pathologists
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; CFY candidates may also be considered
- Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) certification to work in school settings
- Previous school-based experience is preferred
- Must pass background checks and district onboarding procedures
Responsibilities: - Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on evaluation results
- Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services
- Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress notes, and evaluation reports
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute professional input
