Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join a school district in the New Orleans, Louisiana area. This full-time position offers the chance to provide meaningful services to students while collaborating with a supportive educational team. Travel and virtual roles are also available for qualified candidates.
About the Role:
The ideal SLP will provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to students with speech and language needs. This role also includes participation in IEP development and collaboration with other educators. Virtual and travel-based placements may be considered depending on district needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and develop therapy plans aligned with IEP goals

Provide both individual and group therapy services

Collaborate with staff and parents to support student progress

Maintain accurate documentation and reporting

Adhere to state and district policies for special education
Requirements:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Louisiana license issued by the Louisiana Board of Examiners for SLP and Audiology

Certification from the Louisiana Department of Education (Ancillary Certificate for SLPs)

ASHA CCC preferred; Clinical Fellows may be accepted

School-based experience is a plus
