Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet all local and state certification and licensure requirements, including:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Active California SLP license issued by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board
-
Current or eligible California Teaching Credential (CTC) with an Authorization in Speech-Language Pathology Services
-
Completion of required background check and fingerprint clearance through the California Department of Justice

School-based experience preferred
Typical Responsibilities

Evaluate and diagnose students with speech, language, communication, and related disorders

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals

Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to support student progress
-
Maintain thorough documentation and progress monitoring
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
