Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for part-time roles during the Extended School Year (ESY) with school districts in the West Milford, NJ area. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students during summer programming while enjoying a flexible schedule.
Details:
- Location: West Milford, NJ
- Part-Time: 20-25 hours per week
- Caseload: Elementary School, conducting testing and evaluations. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit based on experience.
Requirements Applicants Must Meet All Local and State Criteria: - Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active New Jersey Speech-Language Pathology License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred)
- School-based experience is highly preferred
- Ability to pass background checks and fingerprinting as required by the NJ Department of Education
Responsibilities: - Provide remote speech and language therapy to students in K12 settings
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations using teletherapy platforms
- Develop and manage IEPs in collaboration with school teams
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with state and district policies
- Regularly consult with educators, parents, and support staff
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs in a virtual environment
