Job Responsibilities:

Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.

Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals.

Provide direct therapy services and collaborate with teachers and families to support communication development.

Maintain detailed records, documentation, and progress reports in accordance with school and legal guidelines.

Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and ongoing student support planning.

Support general education and special education staff with resources and strategies related to speech-language needs.
Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, applicants must meet the following state and local requirements for practice in Colorado:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Active Colorado Department of Education Special Services License Speech Language Pathologist endorsement.

Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) license for Speech-Language Pathology.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.

Valid background check and fingerprint clearance through the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

Previous school-based or pediatric experience is strongly preferred.
