Blazer Jobs is seeking a licensed School Psychologist to support a school district in Topeka, Kansas, for the upcoming academic year. This role focuses on conducting comprehensive evaluations to assist in the development and adjustment of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring students receive appropriate educational services and support.
Job Responsibilities:

Gather information through a variety of means, including formal assessments, direct observations, and input from parents, teachers, and other stakeholders

Determine student eligibility for special education services and reevaluations

Participate in the development and review of IEPs

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student academic and behavioral success

Provide consultation and recommendations to staff and families regarding student needs
Requirements:

Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
-
Valid Kansas School Psychologist license

Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting results

Familiarity with IEP processes and special education laws

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
