Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time roles with school districts in the Montgomery, Texas area for the upcoming school year. Opportunities are available for in-person or hybrid work arrangements, offering flexibility and support in a collaborative school-based setting.
Details:
- Location: Montgomery, TX
- Full Time: 37.5hours per week
- Caseload: K-12, age group to be determined. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit based on experience.
Requirements Applicants Must Meet All Local and State Criteria: - Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
- Current and valid Texas Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
- Must hold or be eligible for a Texas Education Agency (TEA) Speech Therapy Services Certification for work in public schools.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
- Background check and fingerprint clearance as required by the school district.
- Prior school-based experience preferred.
Responsibilities: - Provide remote speech and language therapy to students in K12 settings
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations using teletherapy platforms
- Develop and manage IEPs in collaboration with school teams
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with state and district policies
- Regularly consult with educators, parents, and support staff
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs in a virtual environment
