Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following local and state requirements to be considered:

Active Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) license as a Speech and Language Pathologist

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
-
Recent experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred

Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements

Completion of all required background checks and fingerprinting in accordance with Wisconsin state guidelines
Typical Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language disorders
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
-
Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
-
Monitor and document student progress toward communication goals
-
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and district regulations
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
