Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and licensed Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position with school districts in the Pasadena, TX area. We are seeking professionals committed to helping students improve their communication skills and succeed both academically and socially.
Position Overview:
The selected candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students, while collaborating with educational staff and families to support students' overall development.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with student needs.

Deliver therapy services in individual and group settings.
-
Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals.
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments.

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning.
-
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including IDEA and district protocols.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state certification requirements for Texas, including:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.

Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).

Active or in-progress Texas Education Agency (TEA) certification as a Licensed SLP for school-based work (or eligibility for temporary credentialing).

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered with supervision provided.

Up-to-date fingerprinting and background check clearance.

Familiarity with Texas public school special education practices and documentation.
