Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time, school-based positions for the upcoming school year in the Ashland, Wisconsin area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping students achieve success in communication, language, and academic growth.
Details:
- Location: Ashland, WI
- Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: K-12 caseload. Assignment will depend on need and experience. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit.
Requirements Applicants Must Meet All Local and State Criteria: - Valid Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) License with a certification in Speech and Language Pathology (820 License).
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates may be considered.
- Must pass background checks and fingerprinting as required by the district and state.
- Compliance with any additional district-specific requirements.
Responsibilities: - Provide remote speech and language therapy to students in K12 settings
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations using teletherapy platforms
- Develop and manage IEPs in collaboration with school teams
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with state and district policies
- Regularly consult with educators, parents, and support staff
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs in a virtual environment
