Qualifications & Requirements:
All applicants must meet California state and local requirements for school-based speech-language pathology, including:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Current California Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board (SLPAHADB)
-
California Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential in Language, Speech, and Hearing (required for public school positions)
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
-
Completion of Live Scan background check
-
TB test clearance
-
Previous experience in educational or school settings preferred
Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments and screenings

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
-
Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create inclusive communication strategies
-
Maintain detailed records and documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
