Blazer Jobs is now interviewing experienced and licensed Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position with partner school districts in the Placerville, California area. We are looking for compassionate professionals who are committed to helping students reach their full potential through improved communication and language development.

Position Overview:

Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Location: Placerville, California
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Renewal: Based on performance for the following school year

Qualifications & Requirements:

All applicants must meet California state and local requirements for school-based speech-language pathology, including:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Current California Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board (SLPAHADB)
California Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential in Language, Speech, and Hearing (required for public school positions)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
Completion of Live Scan background check
TB test clearance
Previous experience in educational or school settings preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments and screenings
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create inclusive communication strategies
Maintain detailed records and documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
