Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time positions with school districts in the Willis, Texas area for the upcoming school year. We are seeking professionals who are passionate about supporting student communication needs in a collaborative educational setting.
Details:
- Location: Willis, TX
- Full Time: 35 hours per week
- Caseload: Elementary School Assignment. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit.
Requirements Applicants Must Meet All Local and State Criteria: - Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
- Current Texas Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellows may be considered.
- Must hold or be eligible for a Texas Education Agency (TEA) Speech Therapy certificate if required by the district.
- Must pass a background check and meet any additional local school district requirements.
Responsibilities: - Provide remote speech and language therapy to students in K12 settings
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations using teletherapy platforms
- Develop and manage IEPs in collaboration with school teams
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with state and district policies
- Regularly consult with educators, parents, and support staff
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs in a virtual environment
