Blazer Jobs is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join one of our trusted school district partners in Elgin, IL for the 20252026 school year. This is a full-time, school-based contract position with high potential for renewal based on performance and district needs.
Starting Pay Rate:
Starting at $40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Minimum Requirements:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Active Illinois SLP license
-
Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred

Previous school-based experience strongly preferred

Core Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans

Provide direct speech-language services to students

Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams

Attend and contribute to IEP meetings

Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress
