Qualifications & Requirements:
Applicants must meet all California state and local requirements for school-based speech-language pathology, including:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Active California Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board (SLPAHADB)
-
California Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential in Language, Speech, and Hearing (required for school settings)
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
-
Fingerprint clearance via Live Scan
-
Negative TB test result
-
Previous school-based experience preferred
Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings
-
Develop and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Deliver direct therapy services to students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
-
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student development
-
Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with district and state regulations
-
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary support planning
